We are well located for day trips to Fort William, Oban, and even Inverness and the Isle of Skye, all of which offer a variety of visitor attractions.
Eat at the fantastic Loch Leven Sea Food Cafe serving quality Scottish shellfish or take a trip to the Old Inn for one of the best steaks you will ever taste.- Glencoe Visitor Centre – a multi award winning visitor attraction run by the National Trust for Scotland. Learn about the Clan MacDonald and the Glencoe Massacre, life in the glen and lots of other facts about the world famous Glencoe.
- Local distilleries: Tours are available in both Oban Distillery and Ben Nevis Distillery, learn how whisky is made and sample a wee dram.
- Glenfinnan Viaduct. From Fort William take the train to Mallaig (Jacobite steam train runs in summer) and view the viaduct from the flying car scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
- From Oban take the boat to Mull and visit picturesque Tobermory.
- Dolphin and Whale viewing trips from Oban.
